Kevin Durant has moved into 10th place on the NBA's all-time scoring list, passing Moses Malone.

Durant needed 17 points to pass Malone and he scored them all in the first half of the game against the Denver Nuggets.

Durant is now one of only two active players in the top 10, the other being LeBron James.

James congratulated Durant on his achievement on Twitter.

Durant is averaging 31.3 points per game this season and is on pace to pass Carmelo Anthony for ninth place on the all-time scoring list.

James is also having a great season and is averaging 24.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game.

James recently passed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most minutes played in NBA history.

James is also the first player to score 39,000 points in the NBA.

James and Durant are expected to face off in the knockout stage of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
