An Effective Erectile Dysfunction Treatment

Since Viagra hit the market in 1998, erectile dysfunction (ED) treatments have come a long way. New oral medications enhance the effects of nitric oxide, which increases blood flow to the penis for an erection.

How do I get Kamagra?

Kamagra 100mg is a drug that treats erectile dysfunction. It is a jelly that dissolves in your mouth and contains sildenafil citrate, the same active ingredient as Viagra. It is manufactured in India.

However, Kamagra complies with the safety and manufacturing regulations that apply to medicines licensed for use in the UK.

If you're experiencing erectile dysfunction, you should see your doctor to discuss what's causing it. There may be another condition that needs treating, and medications like Super Kamagramay help. Other treatment options for ED include PDE5 inhibitors, alprostadil, and vacuum constriction devices. If none of these medications are helpful, your doctor may recommend psychotherapy or other treatments for erectile dysfunction.

PDE5 Inhibitors

PDE5 inhibitors, also known as phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors, were first developed in the early '90s as medications to treat cardiovascular conditions like angina (chest pain) and high blood pressure. But the drugs UK-92,480 and later sildenafil (Viagra) turned out to have other side effects as well, including penile erections in some men.

Oral phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors are now the mainstay of pharmacologic therapy for erectile dysfunction. There are four PDE5 inhibitors available in the United States: sildenafil (Viagra), vardenafil (Levitra and Staxyn, Bayer/GlaxoSmithKline), tadalafil (Cialis, Eli Lilly) and avanafil (Stendra, Vivus).

The herbal remedy yohimbine has also been shown to have some PDE5 inhibiting properties and may improve ED in certain patients, but more research is needed. An ethanol extract of black ginger (Kaempferia parviflora) is another alternative that showed some improvement in a 2018 study.

Alprostadil

This medication is an intracavernous injection that works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the corpus cavernosum and increasing the diameter of the cavernous arteries. This allows for an erection to be formed. This treatment is a viable option for about 70 percent of men with ED.

Alprostadil is a synthetic prostaglandin E1. It acts by binding to the alprostadil receptors and increasing intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) which leads to vasodilation of the corpus cavernosal arteries and induces erection by entrapping blood within the corporal venules.

This drug has been shown to be more effective than other intracavernous medications for treating ED.  However, some people may experience penile pain or a prolonged erection with the use of this medication.
